Privacy Policy

Profirm places great importance on protecting your personal information. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, in accordance with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).

1. Information We Collect

We collect the information you voluntarily provide, notably through our contact and service forms: name, email address, phone number, company name, as well as any information contained in your message or required to provide our services (e.g., driver and vehicle information for transport compliance).

2. Purposes of Collection

We use your personal information solely for the following purposes:

  • to respond to your requests and communicate with you;
  • to provide the requested compliance services (consortium, permits, IFTA, etc.);
  • to manage our business relationship and administrative obligations;
  • to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

3. Consent

By providing us with your information, you consent to its collection and use for the purposes described above. You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to applicable legal or contractual obligations.

4. Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share it only: (a) with service providers who assist us in delivering our services (e.g., testing laboratories, permit authorities), (b) where required by law, or (c) with your consent. Some of our providers (e.g., hosting and email services) may process data outside Quebec; we take reasonable measures to ensure adequate protection.

5. Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law, after which it is securely destroyed or anonymized.

6. Security

We implement reasonable security measures (technical, administrative and physical) to protect your information against loss, theft and unauthorized access.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access your personal information, to have it corrected if inaccurate, and to withdraw your consent. To exercise these rights, contact our person in charge of the protection of personal information (see section 9).

Our site may use cookies or similar technologies to ensure proper functioning and remember your preferences (e.g., language). You can configure your browser to refuse cookies.
